So sick...

So sick...

first Addyson threw up all over me as I was moving her from my bed to her bed.

No warning...

just projectile vomit coming out of her mouth as I'm yelling to Ric to "help!"

All over me; all over the bed and floor.

Some on the dresser and wall...

As I sat there frozen, not sure how to make my next move,

Ric came back in with towels and started the bath water.

We stripped everything down, and Addyson got into the bath at 1am...

So tired, but feeling much better...

The next day, Brooklyn started feeling sick.

I was really hoping that she wouldn't get sick,

because she had already been sick and throwing up two previous times that month.

But sure enough, as much as she didn't want to, she started throwing up again.

And then I started feeling sick...great.

 Brooklyn was crying and couldn't get any relief,

so Ric made her a bath with lavendar espom salt...

it really helped her calm down and even smile a little...

In the meantime, I am feeling SO sick...
Brooklyn and I ended up being sick at the same time.
This is one of those times that you really wish you had a 2nd bathroom.
She would come out; I would go in and vomit my guts out...
again and again.
 I don't EVER remember being that sick. Ever.
I couldn't eat anything and keep it down;
pretty sure I was dehydrated because I almost fainted walking to the kitchen to get a drink.
I was so weak and could hardly get out of bed.
Brooklyn wished she was Brynley and wanted to die, lol...
We said lots of prayers on her behalf...Luckily it only lasted a couple days.
Brynley never got sick and Ric just had a touch of what we had a few days later...

When I was feeling better, I threw out EVERY sweet thing in the house
and vowed to never eat sugar again... (ya, right).
Then I went out and bought mostly veggies and fruit and other good stuff.
This was definitely not our ideal Christmas break.
I hope we never have to go through that again.
So sick...
