We spent New Year's Eve at home this year...we were just starting to feel better,
but we didn't want to take any chances on either getting anyone else sick,
or getting sick again...
I remembered that we had leftover fireworks from the 4th of July,
so we bundled up and yelled and cheered to bring in the New Year...
Then we came inside and made a "toast."
We all told each other what we wanted to work on this new year
and then we would toast after each one of us had a turn.
When we were done,
Addyson put her hands up in the air with a confused look on her face and said,
"but where's the TOAST?"
We all had a good laugh and put some bread in the toaster and had toast...
New tradition. Toast with a "toast"... :)
