BRYN AND BROOKLYN'S FIRST DAY
I never thought the girls would be going to the same school I did...
especially for a 2nd year!
They are loving it, and have made so many friends.
Bryn is in 4th grade this year and Brooklyn is in 2nd...
Bryn and Brooklyn started a couple weeks before Addyson started kindergarten..
.(that was ok with me)...
Can't believe all of them will be in school!
See the pink watch on Brynley's wrist that I told her not to take off
(because it's one of those slap wrist watches
and I didn't want it to get lost or taken away on her first day)...
well, she lost it...or her friend that borrowed it lost it. Uh huh...
Well, other than that, the first day seemed pretty fun...
2 weeks later...
ADDYSON'S FIRST DAY
Addyson was VERY ready and excited for kindergarten to start...
there were no tears from either of us on the first day,
but part of me wanted her to be just a little sad about leaving...
on the other hand,
I'm glad she is brave and confident enough to leave for a few hours
without having me by her side. I know she'll do great.
She has an awesome teacher, who is also Brooklyn's primary teacher at church.
She already knows many of the kids in her class too.
She is in the same kindergarten room that I was in...
and playing on the same playground as I did.
VERY cool...
(except all of the awesome playground equipment and sand we played on is now "unsafe" and was removed, lol..They had these big, plastic animal swings. You would "pump" by pushing and pulling the bars. They were SO much fun! Too bad they can't still be enjoyed.
Maybe too much of a hazard for kindergartners?)
Jumpin' right in, like she's been there for months already...
