Brooklyn is 8! Happy Birthday!

September always seems to be such a crazy month,
but we still managed to have a family party for Brooklyn
and decided to go to Brick Oven to celebrate. Because what better pizza is there, right?
And Brooklyn LOVES pizza...
Maybe a little TOO much... lol
 Uncle Sean and Toby...
Grandma and Grandpa and Shaina all came to help celebrate...
After dinner, we went back home to eat cake and ice cream.
We were excited to see what cake creation Aunt Shaina had come up with this year.
Brooklyn had some pretty extravegant ideas
that were going to need another year to put together,
so Shaina decided to just suprise Brooklyn...
and if anyone knows Brooklyn, knows that she has a soft place in her heart
for ALL of God's creations...lol
Isn't it bug-u-tiful?
...and Brooklyn takes her wishing seriously...
we sat there waiting in anticipation for a good minute for her to make her wish, lol
...and apparently she takes her blowing seriously too...
blew a chunk of wax right onto the frosting!
And this is MY favorite part...
watching Brooklyn open presents.
I LOVE the expression on her face. It doesn't matter what it is...
she is SO excited for every gift!

Brooklyn is such a girly-girl. She has been dying to wear heels.
Now she has some of her own,
so maybe she'll stay out of my closet!
(Ya right).

We are SO grateful to have Brooklyn in our family.
She is hilarious; creative; outgoing; compassionate; friendly; helpful; playful;
spiritual and inspiring...plus a whole lot more.
We couldn't imagine life without her.
We are so excited for her baptism coming up
and can't believe that she's already 8!
Happy Birthday!!
