Hey! This is Tonya Crane from the ward. I hope you don't mind I found your blog from Jen's. Your girls are absolutely adorable!! Thanks for letting me join you on the picnic the other day...it was so nice to get outside! We should do it again sometime when my Maelie is well again.
Hi Angie! OK, so something was wrong with my comment moderation thing so I thought nobody was leaving me comments, LOL---I just got it to work and finally got all your comments! Thanks so much, I love hearing from people. Hey, I left you a comment on your BOM blog and was wondering how I go about ordering?
Hide your shoes; hide your stuffed animals; cuz they will get all chewed up and drooled on!
What did you say?
Addyson (5 years old) Talking about how we get honey: "When the bee is died, do we grab it in our hands and squeeze the honey out?"
Brynley (9 years old): "Mom...did Heavenly Father make mosquitos to give us problems?"
I love how Addyson blames a burp on her stomach: "Excuse YOU stomach...excuse YOU."
Addyson (almost 5 years old) sits down next to an older gentlemen (maybe in his 90's), and he offers Addyson his hand for a "high five." Addyson hesitates and then says, " I better do it soft so you won't break, huh?"
Brynley (8 1/2 yrs old) was writing with a "Hello Kitty" pen when it stopped working. She leans over to me in church and whispers, "Mom, this pen isn't working..." After closely examining it, she leans over again and says," No WONDER it's not working...it was made in 1976!"
Me: "Brynley, I bought you a new nightgown...it's really cute with Tinker Bell on it."
Brynley (squealing with delight): "If I had a tail right now, it would be wagging SO fast!" (Brynley 8 years old)
Brooklyn (age 7): "Dad, are we on the freeway?"
Ric: "yup... but it's not really free..."
Brooklyn: "But it's a way!"
Brynley (age 8) and I were in line at Ross, waiting for our turn to pay. The lady in front of us was wearing "Dickies" brand scrubs with the label clearly showing on the outside of her shirt. Brynley leans over to me and whispers: "mom, she works at Dickies!"
Brooklyn (age 7): "Mom, did you used to be a star?"
Me: "What do you mean, star?"
Brooklyn: "like on the stage."
Me: "not really"
Brooklyn: "because you have a really good voice."
Me: "well, thanks!" (glad I'm a star in her eyes)
Addyson (3 years old): "Mom? Do you love me?
Do I make you happy?"
One day I was fixing Ramen Noodles with Addyson standing next to me on the stool...I started pouring the seasoning on the noodles. She got VERY upset and started crying, "MOM! No put DIRT on the noodles!"
Brooklyn (6 years old): "Mom, I REALLY wish I knew who Heavenly Father's dad was..."
Brynley's favorite joke ( 8 years old):
"What kind of glasses does a 3-eyed monster wear?
3-D Glasses!"
Brooklyn (6 years old): (Watching me put my make up on)...
"Mom, you look like a clown..."
