Halloween 2011

Adjusting Wonder Woman's headband I made the day of...

pretty impressed I must say,

although I realized I canNOT draw a star!

Bryn and Brooklyn are witnesses to that...MANY tries until I "settled"

Bryn and Brooklyn were SO excited the night before Halloween

 that they couldn't sleep...

they stayed awake until about 11pm...

and woke up that morning at 5:30!!

I was a zombie...hahaha...

 Aunt Shaina had perfected the Zombie look,

so we sent Brooklyn over to her house to get made up before school...

it was totally professional! Thanks Shaina!

Brooklyn had the Zombie walk and look down really well...

and Brynley really looked and felt like a super hero.
Addyson wore the 2008 award-winning Sharpay outfit (from High School Musical) this year...
Brooklyn wore it a few years ago and won first prize out of hundreds of kids.
 I felt bad because some of the moms had really spent time on costumes.
There were a lot of homeade outfits...
I spent $20.
But now that I think about it, it was Brooklyn that "sold" the costume.
She was really acting the part... :)
I think we'll have to retire this costume after this year.
No one will stop growing!

As for me, I couldn't pull off Nanny McPhee again this year,

so I threw something together really quick...

 (but secretly I do want to be a cowgirl for real... ;) )
