With the nice weather and leaves changing color, we just had to get up into the mountains. After we make the short drive up the canyon, I always wonder why we don't do it more often. It's SO beautiful!
Waterfall up Provo Canyon towards Sundance...
We packed a picnic lunch and stopped at the campground
(which is already closed for the season)
and got to pick from a variety of campsites/picnic spots.
Lots of scenic shots all around us...
you couldn't take a bad picture if you tried!

Brooklyn found a moth in the leaves and Addyson is trying to peek through the other side
so she can see it too...
As we drove over the top of the Alpine Loop into American Fork canyon,
we stopped here to go to the bathroom, and saw everyone hiking up a little trail...
We decided to check it out...
It was worth it!

We had our moments, but overall it was such a great time!
