Brooklyn...1st Grade
This is the girl who claims she doesn't like boys,
but gets chased by them everyday for the entire first week of school...
Several of the boys have claimed her as their girlfriend
and I've heard rumors of "kissing." (uh-oh)
On the cheek, but still...Gotta reel this girl in!
Don't they talk about cooties?
Or is that 2nd grade??

Brynley...3rd Grade
This is the girl who can hardly contain her excitement!!
She is so energetic and always smiling...ready for a new adventure.
She took a bouncy ball out the first day for recess,
and bounced it around the whole time...
hoping someone would come over and ask to play with her.
No one did. :(
But the next day, she left the ball in the classroom and went and found a friend to play with.
Being the "new" kid gets a little tougher the older you get.
She got the cutest new glasses to start off the new year that she picked out herself...
new backpack and new shoes too.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these cute girls! So glad they are mine!
I never imagined my girls
would be going to the same elementary I went to.
Walking the same path.
Crossing the same crosswalk,
and walking in the same halls...
The school even smells the same!

Wait...you're still here? I thought it was just for the summer! How fun they are at your same school! It doesn't surprise me at all that the boys are chasing Brooklyn around the playground!!
I agree I didnt know you guys were still here either. Id love to have u over for lunch one day and show off my lil girl. i live in Orem now. let me know!
You're girls are looking so grown up. And yes the schools do still smell the same!
It is so funny that your kids are going to the elementary school that we did. I bet it brings memorys back for you. Your girls look so cute!
