Riding bikes.
Or tricycles...
Playhouse fun...
Yes, I insanely made this
out of a washer and dryer box.
It got lots of play time.
They loved the mail slot on one side and the chicken door on the other...
Next time...note to self: "spray paint."
Badmitten...Hit those little birdies!
August thunderstorms.
This was the real color of the sky...
I felt like I was in Kansas or Oklahoma...
Oh yes...and grandma's chickens.
They were a large part of the girl's summer.
Swimming.
Gotta LOVE Addyson's pose in this pic...lol
Grandpa's specialty...
a good game of marbles.
The girls LOVED it!
And more chickens.
Seriously, the girls spent 1/2 of their day
out with the chickens.
Checking eggs; Checking eggs again;
Chasing and catching;
involving the hens in games of make believe...
They've tolerated a lot.
As you can see:
Playing with next door friends.
Always a good time.
Making nests with eggs out of playdo:
More riding bikes...
and getting rides.
Outings to Thanksgiving Point Children's Garden.
Cool new stuff there.
Playing music together.
Always time to be silly...
More swimming...Noah's Ark
Taking time to smell the flowers.
Soaking up the sun.
Sleeping out on the trampoline.
Aunt Shaina was brave and stayed out all night with the girls...
Looking up at the stars.
Finding the Big Dipper.
Feeding the mosquitos.
Poor Brooklyn woke up with about
13 mosquito bites
all over her face right in time for school...
Chalk drawings.
I wonder what's on Brooklyn's mind:
"Brooklyn....Him"
Taking Jaida on walks.
Can't get enough of grandma's dog.
Can we say EGG-citing summer!
Long days.
Ready for school to start...
and thankful for all the memories of summer...
