Baptism Day

We are SO grateful for Brynley's decision to be baptized. She knows so much about the gospel and is so in tune to the spirit already. The Bishop could tell that she was very prepared...She is such a positive and happy girl and a great friend to everyone. She especially is aware of those who seem lonely or sad. It was so special to see Ric baptize her. She did awesome and wasn't even scared...I met her in the bathroom to get her changed into her $1000 baptism dress that (thanks to my mom) got finished just in time...It fit her perfect and she looked like an angel. She had the privilege of having Grandpa (Smith) confirm her. It was all so special and I know that everyone there felt the spirit. The girls all sang the song "Somewhere There's A Mountain" by Nashville Tribute Band, while I accompanied them on the piano. Besides a couple of mess-ups from me, they did SO well. I had a hard time holding my tears back. My mom and Ric's mom gave some great talks on Baptism and the Holy Ghost, and Uncle Dane and Aunt Connie gave the opening and closing prayers. Uncle Sean took lots of pictures of that day... After she was baptized, she bore her short and sweet testimony of the gospel. I know she will always remember this day. We are so happy to have so many friends and family attend.
