Some days (mostly those "pity me" days) I go to the mailbox and think:
"Maybe "IT'S" finally arrived"... and I wonder what kind of PACKAGE it will be in? Will it be in a small envelope or a box? Will it be wrapped in gold or silver?
I don't know WHY I think I deserve "IT", but I just do sometimes...
There has to be SOMETHING that I've forgotten about over the last 30 years. SOME contest I've entered for a free car ... or even a 7 day trip for 5 to an exotic island... Or even 5 tickets to Disneyland... Or even a year supply of food storage... or even a new digital camera ...Or... (well, you get the picture...)
The note would say: "We are SO sorry it's taken so long for us to get "THIS" to you... with all of your 14 moves, it's been hard to find out where to send your PRIZE. But...if this is really you, please call this number to claim your prize."
And it would just be THAT easy. Don't I deserve that?? :)
P.S. I really don't consider myself a greedy person...but we can all wish right? Wishes can come true? (Well, maybe in Disneyland...if I could just GET there...lol. NEVER know what could be in that mailbox!).

I know what you mean. Everyday I'm so excited for the mail to come to see what goodies the mail has brought with it. Usually I'm disappointed. Shopping on Ebay and Etsy and other various retail locations does bring the occasional excitement, but it's hardly a prize.
I have something to send you and you can find in your mailbox...I just came upon a pair of cowboy boots that we borrowed last year for Halloween! I feel so bad we still have them! Give me your address and I'll get them in the mail...I know its not what you're looking for, but its something! :)
Haha! I always think the same thing except for me it's a check with a very large sum of money made out to me. Some long lost rich aunt's inheritance or something...ah if only! :)
