Our journey into the heatwave...

Saying goodbye...Aunt Shaina and girls...

Aunt Jane and Uncle Reid happened to be up from Anaheim...The girls loved to be around Aunt Jane. She is such a sweety...

Grandpa Pudge and Grandma Judy...
And of course my parents were there as well as Aunt Pat, Uncle Dave and Aunt Pam. They all came to see us off to CA. We will miss all of them!

Our first pit stop...just happened to be by the salt flats by Wendover. It was too tempting to get in the salty water.

The drive...

Brynley and Brooklyn took turns in the Uhaul. I think it made the trip a little more manageable to split the girls up... :)

Our view...

I'm still happy here...

Not so much here...Headache + Uhaul running out of gas = not a happy camper...

The next morning drive over into Sacramento...SO pretty. I can't wait to have a cabin up in the mountains. I could live up here 24/7...

Trying to convince Addyson to walk back to the car and sit for another couple of hours. We stood there for a minute so I tried to distract her by taking a picture of our feet.
More pictures coming soon. We're about 1/2 way packed. Our air conditioning isn't working today and it's over 105 degrees outside, but at least we have a fan...Get air conditioning fixed is #1 on list of things to do tomorrow. #2 is swimming...
MISS ALL of you!!

Sad we didn't have a final chance meeting in the parking lot! Good to hear that you are getting settled--I feel you on the A/C being busted--AH! Good luck with everything!

So where in Cali did you move to? Wonder if it is close to us or not. We are in Bakersfield. I guess if you went up through Sacramento it is a bit away. Glad you made it there. Sorry about the air not working. We would die; its been 110 around these parts.
