We were so excited to hear that Brynley's school was going rollerskating. The girls were talking about it for days and looking forward to it. They've been practicing a little this last summer/fall outside on our driveway (and in the house, which isn't really allowed...). After we got to the skating rink, Ric helped Brooklyn put her skates on and she was off! Just like her to disappear like that...Brynley did great on her own, and after a few falls, Brooklyn started to get the hang of it, too. Addyson was holding my hand and LOVING it. I even saw her head boppin' to the music while she was skating. She even went off on her own too (with me close by). You should have been there when we told the girls it was time to go. There was lots of screaming and crying and then bribing with ice cream and candy...it doesn't feel nice to be kicked in the shins with rollerskates! I guess they really loved it!

How fun! I remember the days of roller skating and how fun it was. . . i can't even do it now though. . .
That looks like so much fun!! I'm going to have to take my kids. They would love that.

my girls love skating. We rented out the entire rink for their 8th Bday and they had the time of their lives.

good thing roller skating usually is cheap entertainment for the kids :) our kids school does those skate nights about 3-4 times a year.... i usually just go and cheer them on anymore :)
