I've had a few suggestions for "boy-ish" covered Book of Mormons. Let me tell ya...it's not an easy task for a mom of 3 girls...It was hard enough to find "boy" scrapbook paper. I mean, you can't cover a BOM with football or trucks. That might be a "little" much... :)
Sooooo.....I need your opinions on this....would you buy this for YOUR boy? Is this "boy-ish" enough?
I wanted to add a brad on the star, but I got shut down by the one "boy" in our household. (Actually, I regress...our new foster cat, Linx, is a boy). But... anyway, he said "no brads..." So it's just plain...no ribbons, flowers, or "brads."
What do YOU think? Oh....since I couldn't add any embellishments, I made a bookmark instead. Cool??? or should I abandon ship on this endeavor?? Click below to let me know! lol...

I think it is "boyish" but I don't like the star... oh and I think a BOM covered in a sports theme would be cute :)
i agree with connie... i think you could do something with out being over the top ( like maybe a star print????? or who knows, i am a mom of all girls too LOL).

They are cute i do like the book mark but a mom of boys i know they probably would just get lost or some how become a sword but i think they are soo cute! but i guess gavin can keep track of alot so he might do good at keeping it
My boys said they like them! And FYI my boys said red, blue, and green are cool boy colors!
I think sports would be super fun! Some boys would totally dig that idea and I don't feel its over the top at all.

Yes it is boyish & I would get it for my boy! I am mpressed with your girls selling ability-I have thought to do that with our zucchini. So what kind of playhouse are they going to get is your husband going to build it?
From someone with all boys, it think its great. My guys like stars. You could also use some antique map paper or something. Your girls are so cute, I can't believe how big and beautiful they are getting!

Oranges and browns are good boy color's. I'm not sure about the star though. Maybe just another smaller circle. Definately no brads. :) You could do sports or dinosaur's, but maybe with muted earth tones. Mason likes using bookmarks, but they would become a sword. Everything is a sword. :)
Hi Angie. I found your blog on your facebook profile. Love the name and I love the roller skates you found for your girls. As for the BOM cover...blue is good. My son digs dinosaurs and lizards and stuff.
I like that you kept it to a design myself. I think little boys, like Taj (4) would like dinosaurs, but much older and I don't think it's really teaching the reverence for the book. Just my opinion. I think the bookmark is a good idea for an older kid, but as everyone has said, it would just be insta-sword to my boys... Good luck--and great ideas!
