Click on this picture, and notice Brooklyn posing...yet again...
We just got back from the Lehi Rodeo, and boy was that a ride...We're worn out just from lassoing kids and pinning them down in their seats. And saying, "ooohh!! ahhhhh!! look at that!" every 2 seconds to keep Addyson entertained. The highlight of Addyson's night was getting a sno cone...a red one of course. And when the horses came out, she said, "MY horse! my horse!" (She's on this "mine" kick lately). I didn't want her to drop through the rather large opening in the bleachers, so either Ric or I had a hold of her the whole time. And ya, she liked that a lot.
Brynley seemed to enjoy most of it and Brooklyn was a little bored, but she did say that she wanted to go down and ride the horses. I told her that we didn't sign up...she was like, "oh..." That answer seemed to satisfy her, thank goodness. I could just see her throwing a tantrum clear up in the middle of the bleachers with no where to go. Someone's elbow in your knee and someone's knee in your back...there was no where to turn! lol...
So, this little outing to the rodeo was not what I pictured it to be... (but what is?) Everything that went on is just a blur...it was like, "sit down; look at that!; be careful; move over; don't spill your sno cone; what??; oooooooh!; ya, he's a little bit hurt; give that back to her now!; don't poke anyone with your flag; don't pick up dirt; come here; hurry; and on and on...you get the picture...FUN, aye?!

It looks like you had lots of fun!! I don't think anything is ever what you hope for with kids involved! But, I've concluded it's all about the memories!! Like I remember how hard it was for my parents to do things, but I do remember how much fun we had together doing them!! : ) Anyway, we will be at Lindstrom's Sunday!! Can't wait to see you!!! Just a thought, I decided to sell those flower clips. I'll have a few done that I can bring. Let me know if you think you might be interested...and so long...long comment! See you soon!
Hey fello rodeo-er! Too bad it wasn't open seating so we could have had all the madness to share! :) We had a few moments of Taj saying he wanted to go home where I found myself ridiculously arguing with him...but all in all I think he'll remember it well. :) We took Brody last year and were really glad we didn't this time. Maybe next year just a special date with you and Brynley? :)
Well I don't know what happened on your bench but we had a blast on ours! ha. We love your girls and have so much fun with them. Thanks for the invite we had a blast!
Yay! I can view your blog now!
Fun times at the rodeo........(or more like stressful times, huh:) Those bleachers were a little scary with the little ones!) BTW we still have a check for you guys for the tickets!
