The girls were in for a special treat today. We took them for a ride on the new FrontRunner that goes from Provo to SLC. We joined many others who were doing the same thing right before Christmas...taking the train up to Temple Square to see the lights. It was a madhouse, but it was still super exciting! The girls couldn't stop smiling...of course, we had never been before, so we weren't sure to go. Ric was still in line buying our tickets when the conductor gave us 2 more minutes. We cut it close and almost had to wait until the next train. But we made it! Phew!
Brooklyn may have been a little "over" excited...lol
The ride was pretty smooth and VERY scenic. We got to see the "behind the scenes" of the different cities. Lots of animals and horses...Surprisingly though, I almost felt a little motion sick as we were going along, which is weird, because it's never really happened to me before. Must have been the swaying and rocking as we went around corners.
Next time we're bringing cards...or some form of entertainment for the ride back...
In between poses, we needed to catch the Trax to go to our next destination...

We went across the street to the new City Creek to have dinner...
and stood in the insanely long lines.
Such a fun experience!
Next time, maybe we can go on a weekday though?
