Thanksgiving in Spokane, Washington 2011

We have had a fabulous November this year. The weather has been unbelievably warm and nice. We were grateful that the roads were clear so that we could make it safely from Utah to Spokane, Washington this year for Thanksgiving. Grandma and Grandpa were flying from Alaska and we were excited to see everyone. The girls had new cousins to meet and cousins that they hadn't seen for years.
It was all very exciting...no wonder we kept hearing, "are we there yet?" After 12 1/2 hours, we finally made it to our hotel. We got everything unloaded from the car and then went to hang out with family...

Addyson and Angelina

Cousin Michelle; Brynley and Marley, the dog

The girls were so excited to have more girl cousins to play with...
and the dogs and cat were an added bonus too!

Angelina; Grandma Kathy; Addyson; Brooklyn and Alexa chillin' have a great time...

 Brothers reunited...Ric and Kevin

Movie night...and a sleepover! My girls were in heaven!

Hotel shots and a shout out...

We couldn't have found a nicer place to stay...Pheasant Hill in Spokane Valley. I can't say enough about our stay. First of all, can we say INDOOR POOL and JACUZZI??! Even though the pool was FREEZING, the girls didn't seem to mind. And I just hopped in the jacuzzi...it was great therapy.
EVERY morning, they served a buffet breakfast! Eggs; Sausage; Pancakes with strawberries and cream; fruit; donuts; english muffins; toast; hot chocolate; cereal; juice; bagels, etc, etc. Needless to say, my healthy journey had a little vacation too...
And the beds...most comfortable! And hello, fridge and microwave and the friendliest staff!

We drove downtown the day before we left to see the great big red wagon slide and the carousel. We got tickets to the children's museum and had some fun with magic; pretending; road safety and artwork...
