The house that we're renting right now has a HUGE cherry tree,
so we have been looking forward to picking them;
eating them; sharing them and selling them...
They were pretty much ready right around the 4th of July.
Ric had to cut off some of the branches
to get to the REALLY juicy ones before the birds got to them...
There were SO many birds in that tree having a feast every day
that it made me wonder if we'd have any left!

The girls wore their 4th of July dresses that I made a couple of years ago
and stood out by the main road looking cute; waving to people
and smiling as they drove by (at my suggestion).
They sold all of them but one small basket,
which they gave to an older couple in the neighborhood.
I think they made about $40 in a day! Not bad!
