5 Months along...oh my goodness, I have 4 more months! Can you even imagine?
(Note to self...do not let people take pictures of me after just waking up)
At 8 months along, they found out that Brooklyn had turned breech (Which wasn't a suprise, since she had so much room to swim around in there). They were going to try and move her the right way, but couldn't because the cord was right by her head. They scheduled a c-section for 2 weeks early, so Ric's mom bought plane tickets so she would be there to help out. Well, when they did the ultrasound right before the scheduled c-section, they found out that Brooklyn had moved again! So, we went back to waiting...and waiting...Ric's mom had to leave, and Brooklyn was born the next day. :(

September 9th, 2006. A miracle happened...Brooklyn Dawn was born.
Showing her independence very early on by making us wait a week over her due date. I looked like I could have been having twins! In fact, at one point the nurses thought that I WAS having twins. Turns out I had so much amniotic fluid, that it was just an echo of the heartbeat they were hearing. (Thank goodness...can you imagine being told at 8 months along that you were having twins??) I could have sworn she was standing up in there practicing her dance moves.

VERY easy labor compared to Brynley. 27 hours vs 6 hours. I was very happy with that. She weighed 8lb 12oz and came with cheeks and rolls. That's how we like'm. She almost came out smiling! She was a VERY happy baby and loved her baths and swing time. She was VERY observant and just taking in everything around her.

Brynley was excited to have a baby sister, and Brooklyn survived being poked in the eye several times, getting a spoon shoved down her throat and going on very high swings.

wow has time flown... I forgot about my Mom flying out for the birth only to have her come the next day... So Brooklyn wanting to make that grand entrance :)
Isn't it funny how they just come when they are ready? I wear Sam's clothes during my pregnancy too...haha Its nice to hear that other people do that as well. I love the pictures. So fun to look back on things when they only feel like yesterday.
Haha, when I first saw this I thought, oh my gosh, she's 5 months pregnant?!? How did I miss this!?! LOL
Cute post Angie. At first I thought the same thing as your friend Jaime though! I thought you were saying that you are 5 months preggers RIGHT NOW and wondered how I missed hearing about that!
Doesn't surprise me that Brooklyn came out practically smiling. She's always been the happiest, smiliest little girl! So cute!
I thought you were pregnant too!?! Well that was fun to hear about cute little brooklyn. She was a beautiful baby!
