Brynley has been learning about Thanksgiving at school and telling us all about the first Thanksgiving dinner with the pilgrims and Indians. I was amazed at what she remembered...They learned that the pilgrims didn't have microwaves or refrigerators, and they had to boil their bath water and stand up while they were taking a bath...and apparently they also learned how the Indians applied their war paint. Brynley REALLY wanted Brooklyn and Addyson to know what it was like to be an Indian (no WONDER they were "playing" so quiet downstairs)...I couldn't help but laugh...but that was because I knew it was washable...if it was a Sharpie? Hmmmm.... War paint and church don't go very well together...
