Brynley's 1st day of 1st Grade...

Brynley was so excited to start 1st grade. She could hardly sleep and woke up 2 hours early, which was really exciting for us. :) Grandma Paulette and Aunt Shaina took her to Old Navy and picked out a really cute outfit...including shoes (which she learned the hard way that they need to be worn with socks...ouch! blisters...). We also decided to give her a new "do" and got her hair cut in a cute a-line. It fits her so well...
I wasn't sure how I felt about her being gone all day. It's been some adjusting for me...and also Brooklyn and Addyson. They miss their sister. But Brynley has done great; made friends and her teacher is "such a great teacher." (Mrs Western). The only complaint I heard from Brynley was that she didn't get a "rest" time. She loves school lunch; art and of course recess...She is reading awesome! My mom and I were in shock hearing her read some new chapter books. And you should hear her read the Book of Mormon! She also keeps Brooklyn and Addyson entertained by reading to them. She is a great big sister and a great helper to me. She decided that she would help me do the dishes the other day instead of play outside. She could tell that I had a lot to do and willingly helped. She's getting so grown up! Love ya Brynley!
