We were lucky to get anyone to stay still for these pictures. Addyson was tired and would NOT keep her tongue in her mouth for some reason (either could Ric as you can see in the family picture) and the girls were really excited to be with their "aunts" who are just a little bit older than them so they were running around crazy. Ric baptized and confirmed Ashley...it was good for Brynley to be there because she has mentioned that she doesn't want to be baptized. I'm pretty sure it's the whole water thing...but after this baptism, she seemed so excited about baptism...so we'll see. Later in the day we all went to the temple so that Ric could stand in for his dad so Ashley and Heather could be sealed to his dad and stepmom. The girls and I waited in the temple waiting room for them with Ric's Grandpa Johnson, Aunt Nellie, Uncle Leo, Vern and Tiffany. The only way I can describe it was that I don't think the temple has ever had temple guests (in the waiting room) carrying around Coke and Mountain Dew...throwing out a few swear words and taking the Lord's name in vain. VERY interesting...to say the LEAST...It was a great experience though and the girls were so excited to see the baptism and go "IN" to the temple. Brooklyn has told me that she is "so excited to get married." She insists on wearing the same dress every week and would actually wear it every day if I didn't pin her down and pull it off her. It's not exactly a "play" dress...She turns into a different person with it on. She is THE princess...
Addyson had no problem being held by Grandpa Johnson...maybe she thought he had some candy in those 2 plastic bags he hauled around all day long... :)
