Our Cabin Retreat

This is the cabin where we stayed...it was more like a lodge with 9 bedrooms and 2 kitchens. It was quite the drive up the mountain with all the snow, but it was so beautiful and relaxing to be up there.

Brynley and Brooklyn were excited to pick out a room to sleep in. Brooklyn wanted to get her pajamas on the minute we got there (which was like 2 in the afternoon). She wanted to get in bed in "her" room. Each room had a theme, and they picked the "Sunflower Suite."

Brynley had fun playing Wii with a friend (who also shared his cough and cold...)on the big screen...

The second day was so pretty...the sun was out and it was "warm." If you call 40 degrees warm...We went sledding for the first time this winter and the girls loved it. Well, Brynley and Brooklyn loved it...from the look on Addyson's face as she was pushed down the hill, it looks like she's really not having fun. She discovered that she likes the taste of snow on her terms, but not when she's face-planted into it. And why don't they make baby gloves that stay on? Poor girl...






We are so glad that we had the opportunity to stay here and hope we can get up there again soon. It was a much needed break from the "everyday" craziness...
