Easter...candy, candy, candy!!

My camera has not been focusing lately (I promise it's not because I haven't changed my disposable contacts in over 3 months! ). So please don't adjust your screen...we are having technical difficulties.
For Easter this year, we decided to do baskets on saturday morning so that we could focus more on the true meaning. We also thought we would give the primary teachers a break on Sunday. "Candy! Candy! Candy!" That's all Addyson wants now. We got take-out at El Azteca the other day and Addyson asks, "candy? Please?" I guess it WAS in a white wrapper. The girls were excited about their new dresses from Grandma Kathy and I also found some dresses for Brynley and Brooklyn a few months ago that I couldn't pass up. (These are the blurry pictures). We also put seeds to plant in their baskets and they have been asking every day if they can go out and plant them. We have carrots, broccoli, cilantro, and cucumbers so far.
So, saturday morning we also went to the local Easter Egg hunt. They had the field marked off in different age groups. Ric stayed with Brynley and Brooklyn and I went with Addyson to the 1-3 year old field. Luckily my friend Andrea happened to run into me and we got the clearest pictures of this Easter EVER! Thanks Andrea! ANyway, the fire truck siren goes off and the 1 year olds are supposed to run in there and grab these plastic eggs (NO PARENTS ALLOWED)I nudge Addyson in there amongst all the screaming kids...Well, Addyson is scared out of her mind and doesn't know WHAT is going on, so I crossed the yellow tape and went in with her to get a stash of eggs...She finally got the concept down after I showed her and got a few eggs filled with....her favorite! CANDY! Wow...she was probably regretting that she hadn't known that beforehand. Oh well, there's always next year aye
