Our 3rd Disco Chick!

I want to introduce Addyson Liberty. She was born April 29th and weighed 7lb 6oz. She is almost 2 months now and has been smiling for weeks. She is a really good baby and puts up with her sisters poking, squeezing and kissing her all over...She has been sleeping 3-4 hours at a time and sometimes suprises us and goes for 5 hours. We like that and hope it gets more frequent...We've had a couple of scares when Brooklyn decided that she could pick her up and hold her. I walked in the room and Brooklyn had her in a bear hug. I was so shocked that I wanted to run over and grab her, but I knew that If I didn't act calmly that Brooklyn might just drop her or throw her down or something...So I slowly went over to Brooklyn and softly said, "please give the baby to me." Then we had a good talk about how only "big" people like mommy and daddy can pick her up. If she wants to hold Addyson, she needs to ask first and then sit down and hold her. Both of the girls try to help out and are pretty good about getting diapers, putting the pacifier in her mouth, and entertaining her while I'm doing something else. Brynley is good at entertaining and has copied the "baby-talk" she hears from everyone else. Addyson will sit and smile and coo at her. It is the cutest thing...Brooklyn hasn't given her a chance to smile and coo at her because she is always an inch away from her face giving her head-butts or kisses and squeezes...She's learning to be soft and I hope she learns soon. She hasn't quite gotten it yet...They are good big sisters though and I hope they will all be great friends...
